M.G. EShores most notorious...
MG Records/New Struggle Muzik Group:
CEO NorthStarr Put it on for the Eastern Shore, breaking barriers and accomplishments that no other artist from that region has yet to do. From different magazine appearances, to a main appearance on a top 15 DVD magazine worldwide (#11), to countless of mix Cd's from numerous DJ's all still available for download. Now more behind the desk he has artists such as R&B singer Armah Ogund'e a prominent and hard working artist who is constantly touring as well as handling lots of NSMG's business as he sits as V.P... NSMG is the parent company to the biggest street label on the Shore, Problem Child Muzik. Also from that same family tree is Nu Hood Order Ent., All In and Cut Throat... We have to respect Starr's focus and grind, for he paved the way for lots of artist on the Shore to do what they do now... #Respect

Biased? Really?
There are some to say that this blog is biased and leaning towards artists that we deal with. Let me be the first to say that, that is emphatically not true. Every artist we feature are from different camps and those whom are making some noise. If artists have no video or performance footage than they slacking. To keep it real if I/we were biased than the only thing on the blog would come from someone affiliated with New Struggle Muzik Group. Yet we feature different artists that so happens to be making some noise. If the music hot, then we will put it up on the blog. Stop with the nonsense bias talk it shows hate and weakness. Get hot, if u feel you hot, get at us and send links to your music, flat out.... peace... R.R.

LYRICIST... THE LOST ART BY: Y.L.
LYRICIST.... It is often talked about what happen to the REAL LYRICIST in the HIP HOP world. As I was riding down the highway on a road trip I had grabbed a few mixtapes for the ride from the local CD man. I went on my trip listening to TRAPTV.com -presents- STYLES P "Large on the Streets" & DJ F SHARP -presents- Top 5 Dead or Alive pt.3 "Jay-Z" both mixtapes are real good riding music. It brought to my mind how lyrics are now absent from a lot of Artist...... The HIP HOP game is now more about gimmic for sale purpose more than anything. In Real HIP HOP artists incorporated a message in their song instead of throwing lines together that rhymed. This is the main concern with hip hop artists today with many old school hip hop fans, artists, or "true" hip hop fans saying that rap has faded away from the lyrical concept of hip hop. Being a 80's baby the artist I came up on (Big L, Big Pun, 2pac, Biggie, AZ, Nas, Rakim, Jay-Z), to them it was a HONOR to be a LYRICIST.... Which always brings up the BIG QUESTION???? IS HIP HOP DEaD???? Which was brought on by the Great Nas himself... The answer to that question is simple NO.... but LYRICISM is! HIP HOP has TRANSFORMED into a money making machine. No longer is it cool to have WORD PLAY... Yet it is better to have a CATCHY TRACK or use AUTO TUNES to alter your voice to make a hit. Whether you chose to RESPECT it or not HIP HOP has CHANGED!!! LYRICISM is no longer at the TOP of THE LIST!! ~Y.L.
